Mixed Media Wall Art | Held | Dreamy Pink Floral

Inspiration

There are seasons when life feels difficult and the struggle seems constant. In those moments, it can be comforting to remember that we are not carrying everything on our own.

Held is a sweet and dreamy mixed media painting of a delicate rose in soft blush and warm ivory. I wanted the flower to feel like it was crumbling, because sometimes that is how we feel in challenging circumstances. A flower's vulnerability is part of what makes the care surrounding it so meaningful. Flowers cannot protect themselves from a storm or provide everything what they need to grow. They depend upon what is beyond themselves, and so do we.

Inspired by the tenderness of God's care for His creation, the painting offers a simple reminder that even when life feels fragile, we are held by a God who does not let us go.
