FAQs
Orders & Shipping
How long does shipping take?
Orders process within 3-5 business days (weekends and holidays are not business days), and most orders ship within 5-8 business days. You'll receive a tracking number by email once your order is on its way.
Do you ship mixed media art near me, and how is it packaged to protect the textures in transit?
Yes. I ship original mixed media art throughout the United States, including Bastrop and surrounding communities, and every piece is carefully packaged to arrive safely at its new home.
Because many of my original paintings feature layered textures and dimensional details, each one is packaged with special care. Your artwork is wrapped in acid-free paper, protected with archival packing materials and cushioning, fitted with protective corner guards when appropriate, and placed in a sturdy shipping box. For larger or uniquely sized pieces, I build a custom-sized package to provide additional protection during transit.
Every order includes tracking information, and I'll also provide simple guidance for safely unwrapping your artwork once it arrives. My goal is for your original mixed media art to reach you in the same beautiful condition it left the studio, ready to become part of the home you're cultivating.
Do you ship internationally?
I currently ship within the US only.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Please contact me as soon as possible if you need to make changes. Once an order has shipped, I'm unable to make modifications.
Returns & Exchanges
What is your return policy?
I accept returns within 14 days of delivery for items in their original condition. Custom orders are final sale.
How do I start a return?
Undamaged items can be returned in most instances. If your artwork arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours with photos of the damage for a replacement or refund. Photos showing the product will be required as part of the return process. Email me at amanda@littlehavenartstudio.com with your order number and reason for return, and I will guide you through the process.
Materials
What materials and techniques do you use in your mixed media art?
Every original mixed media painting is created through a thoughtful layering process using professional-quality materials selected for their beauty, permanence, and depth.
My work often combines acrylic paint, inks, graphite, collage elements, and metallic accents to create rich surfaces that invite closer observation. Original paintings on paper are created using museum-grade, acid-free 100% cotton paper, while canvas pieces are painted on professional gallery-wrapped canvas. My more recent paintings are also finished with a protective varnish for lasting beauty.
Rather than following a formula, each painting develops through many layers of color, texture, and mark-making. I begin with an intuitive foundation and gradually build the composition, allowing the artwork to reveal its character over time.
Inspired by the beauty of God's creation, my original mixed media art brings together florals, landscapes, and abstract architectural elements to create meaningful artwork that invites reflection and is designed to be collected and enjoyed for years to come.
What type of paints and inks do you use in your art? Are they archival quality?
I use American-made Golden Artist paints and acrylic mediums, and American-made Liquitex acrylic inks. These are the best quality you can buy (in my opinion) and are considered archival quality.
Are your prints commercially printed? Are they archival quality?
Yes, they are commercially printed on premium archival matte paper that is 100% cotton and free from optical brighteners, acid and lignin. The commercial inks used are genuine manufacturer branded inks that are archival certified.
All of my prints are shipped flat on acid free mat board.
The result is a product that is completely archival and truly museum grade.
Payments
What payment methods do you accept?
I accept all major credit and debit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and Diners Club. You can also check out quickly using Shop Pay, Apple Pay, or Google Pay.
For larger purchases, Shop Pay Installments is available, allowing you to split your order into manageable payments, so you can bring home the piece you love today. Financing is handled securely through Shop Pay with no impact to your experience.
Collector's Concierge
How often do you release new original paintings for sale, and where do you announce new collections
I release new original mixed media art in thoughtfully curated collections several times throughout the year, rather than on a fixed schedule. Each collection is given the time and attention it deserves, allowing every painting to develop naturally in the studio.
The best place to hear about new releases is The Luminary Conservatory, my email community of collectors. Members receive early collector access to new collections, Virtual Exhibits that share the inspiration and meaning behind the artwork, and behind-the-scenes letters from the studio before each public release.
Because every original painting is created slowly and with intention, I don't follow a production calendar. Instead, I share previews and studio updates as each collection takes shape, inviting collectors to experience the creative journey long before the finished paintings are available.
Do you provide a certificate of authenticity with your original paintings for sale?
Yes. Every original mixed media painting includes a signed Certificate of Authenticity.
Your certificate confirms that your artwork is a genuine, one-of-a-kind piece, hand-created by me. It includes the title, date, and my signature, providing a lasting record of your original painting. For collectors, it serves as documentation of the artwork's authenticity and is an important part of preserving its history and provenance for years to come.
Do you have a local art gallery where I can view your work in person before buying?
Yes. I periodically exhibit original mixed media art in local gallery spaces in and around Bastrop, Texas.
I'm also in the process of completing a new home studio and gallery, where visitors will soon be able to view available artwork by appointment in a more personal setting. I also plan to occasionally host special studio events throughout the year. I'm looking forward to welcoming collectors into the space and sharing the stories behind each collection.
If you'd like to see a particular piece of original mixed media wall art before making a decision, I'd be happy to arrange a private viewing once the new studio is ready. You can also sign up on my website for my email list for updates on gallery exhibits, studio events, and new collection releases.
Do you offer wall art for home in both original paintings and giclee prints?
Yes. I offer both one-of-a-kind original mixed media paintings and museum-grade giclée prints, giving you different ways to collect the artwork that speaks to you.
Original paintings are created by hand in my signature mixed media style, making each piece completely unique. Museum-grade giclée prints are produced from my original artwork using archival inks on premium, acid-free, 100% cotton paper, faithfully preserving the color, texture, and detail of the original.
Whether you choose an original painting or a fine art print, every piece is thoughtfully created to become meaningful mixed media wall art for your home and to be enjoyed for years to come.
Do you accept commissions?
Yes, I do produce commissions in my signature style for collectors. Please complete the simple form on my commission page (under Shop All Art) to initiate a discussion.
There is no fee to submit the form but to move forward after agreement a deposit is required to begin work.
Do you offer commissioned art for florals or landscapes, and what's the process and deposit requirement?
Yes. I accept a limited number of floral and landscape commissions each year, creating original mixed media paintings in my signature style.
Every commission begins with a conversation. You'll initiate that discussion by completing a form where you will share your ideas, the space you're creating for, and the size you're considering, and together we'll determine whether your vision is a good fit for my artistic style. Because each painting is created as an original work of art, I only accept commissions that align with the heart and direction of my work.
Once we decide to move forward, a deposit secures your place on my studio calendar and allows me to begin gathering materials and developing the composition. Before I begin painting, we'll agree on the overall direction, color palette, and important details.
When your painting is complete, you'll receive access to a private online gallery to view the finished artwork before making your final payment. Once approved, your original mixed media painting will be carefully packaged and shipped to your home, ready to become part of the story you're cultivating there.
Are your prints limited edition?
No, not at this time. However, some prints are signed by hand.
Do you offer any Christian art for home that feels faith-inspired without looking formulaic or mass-produced?
Yes. My artwork is deeply inspired by faith and the beauty of God's creation. I believe creation reveals something about its Creator, and I find myself returning again and again to flowers and landscapes because they remind me of the way God nurtures growth, beauty, and hope through every season of life.
Through original mixed media art, I hope to create work that encourages reflection and invites people to notice the meaning woven into the created world. Rather than simply decorating a home, my hope is that each piece becomes part of the atmosphere and story of the people who live with it.
If you're looking for Christian art for your home that is grounded in creation, crafted with intention, and created to be collected for years to come, I believe you'll find that reflected throughout my work.
Can you help me choose the right size of wall art for home for my space?
I'd be happy to help you choose the right size for your space.
If you're unsure what will work best, simply send me a photo of the room along with a few basic measurements. I'll offer thoughtful recommendations based on your wall size, furniture placement, and the feeling you'd like the space to have.
Whether you're looking for a statement piece above a sofa, original mixed media wall art for a dining room, or a smaller painting to complete a cozy reading nook, my goal is to help you choose a piece that feels as though it truly belongs in your home. The right artwork doesn't just fill a wall. It brings balance, meaning, and a collected feeling to the spaces where life unfolds every day.
How would you describe your painting style?
My art style is abstract impressionism mixed media art, which involves utilizing multiple mediums such as acrylic, plaster, acrylic inks, alcohol inks, watercolor, and more.
My art inspiration is faith-forward with a focus on floral and landscape themes.
Do you offer any custom painting options for tote bags, journals, or cards, or are those only available in the designs shown in your shop?
Original painting commissions are available for floral and landscape mixed media artwork created in my signature style.
My collection of wearable art, journals, greeting cards, and other studio goods features reproductions of my original artwork and is available in the designs currently shown in the shop. At this time, I don't offer custom designs for these items.
If you're looking for a personalized original mixed media painting for your home, I'd be delighted to talk with you about a commission. Together, we can create a one-of-a-kind piece that reflects your space while remaining true to the style and heart of my work.
Do I need to frame your original wall art for home?
Many of my paintings are on gallery-wrapped canvas with the image continued around the edges, and therefore no frame is required. However, I do have an increasing number of framed pieces, so check each description to verify any framing and final sizes.
Good To Know
Do you sign and date your mixed media art, and where on the piece can I find the signature?
I sign and date every original mixed media painting I create, including florals, landscapes, and abstracts. I sign on the front of the painting using a medium and color used in the painting. A larger signature and date are available on the back of the canvas.
Do you offer any payment plans for original paintings for sale?
I offer flexible payment plans on original paintings for sale. If there's a piece you connect with, just reach out and we can set up an installment schedule that fits your needs. Once the final payment clears, I carefully package your mixed media art using archival materials and ship it straight from my studio. I want art collecting to feel possible for anyone building a home that matters to them; each piece is ready to become part of the story you're cultivating there.
