When you lose someone you love, sometimes you struggle with guilt. Guilt is a terrible thing because it makes grief even more difficult. You may feel guilt that you didn't see them enough when you could or guilt because you feel you didn't do more--even though you know that these feelings and thoughts do not represent the truth. This painting captures that season where you struggle, but you will make it through.
